Embark on a flavorful journey through Senegal with our "Senegalese Culinary Delight" cooking tour. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and rich gastronomic heritage as you discover the secrets behind three iconic dishes: Fataya, Bissap, and Yassa Chicken or Fish. **Market Exploration:** Begin your adventure with a visit to a bustling local market, where vibrant colors and exotic aromas come to life. Engage with local vendors, select fresh ingredients, and absorb the lively atmosphere that inspires Senegalese cuisine. **Cooking Class:** Head to a charming local home for an interactive cooking class led by experienced cooks. Learn the art of crafting Fataya, a savory pastry; brewing Bissap, a refreshing hibiscus drink; and preparing Yassa Chicken or Fish, a tantalizing dish with marinated flavors. **Physical Requirements:** Please note that participants should be comfortable walking for approximately one kilometer during the market visit and able to ascend a flight of stairs (if needed) at the home. Please message us if you have more than one guest in your party for a group rate.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans may change, and we strive to accommodate our participants' needs. For cancellations, participants are eligible for a full refund if the cancellation request is submitted at least one week (7 days) prior to the scheduled tour or class. Any cancellations made within the last week leading up to the class will not be eligible for a refund. Rescheduling requests can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled class. Participants may reschedule to an available date within a reasonable timeframe, subject to availability. If a participant fails to reschedule within this timeframe, they forfeit the opportunity to transfer their reservation to another date. In the case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, we understand that exceptions may need to be considered. We encourage participants facing exceptional circumstances to contact our customer service team directly, and we will do our best to find an amicable solution. To enhance our support for local partners and ensure an optimal experience, we kindly require the tour deposit at the time of reservation. The remaining tour fee will be settled directly with your guide in local currency at the tour's onset. A location and final payment details will be emailed 24hrs prior, streamlining your preparations. This approach allows us to maximize support for local businesses, ensuring they reap the full benefits of our culinary adventures.
